Peaches
Because we are located further south, we are able to produce peaches much
earlier than other areas of Texas.  We start peach harvest around April 15
with cling peaches.  They are the first locally grown fruit available in the
Spring and are a real treat after a long period without fresh peaches.

About the third week of May through early June we begin to harvest  semi
clingstones.  These peaches will come off the stone in slices.
The second week of June is when we start with freestone peaches.  These are
the earliest freestones in Texas and are great eating.  They are easy to work
with and are good for canning and freezing.  We are picking peaches until mid
July.

Canner peaches are available in 25 lb. (1/2 bushel) at the
orchard house
during season.
